You get a price before we start. It does not change when the truck arrives.
Meet the Tomball Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Tomball
We’re the crew that shows up when your torsion spring snaps at 6 a.m. or your opener’s logic board quits on a holiday weekend. Every technician on our Tomball team carries a background check, a uniform, and a tablet for the photo record you’ll get before we leave. What ties us together isn’t a franchise handbook - it’s The Haven Standard, Clause 1 through 4, and the fact that we’ve all seen what happens when a garage door job gets rushed.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner & Lead Technician
I started Servo in 2015 after ten years of watching other companies quote one price on the phone and invoice another at the truck. That doesn’t happen here because I wrote the rule against it. I’m still the one who handles most torsion spring replacements in Tomball, Magnolia, and the Pinehurst corridor - the 0.283-inch wire springs on older Wayne Dalton systems are a particular specialty, and I’ve got the photo record of every one since we opened. Off the clock, I rebuild vintage motorcycle engines and apply the same patience to timing a camshaft that I do to setting spring tension on a 16-foot Clopay.
James R., Senior Installer
James has hung over 4,000 garage doors since he started in the trade, and he’s particular about jamb plumb and header level in a way that only comes from redoing someone else’s rushed job. He handles our Amarr and Clopay full-view aluminum installations for the new builds in Creekside Park and the commercial bays along FM 2920, where a 1/8-inch variance means the seal won’t sit right. James is the one who catches that the existing header can’t carry a 24-gauge steel door before the truck is unloaded, saving a return trip and a customer surprise. He keeps a fishing rod in his truck and hits Lake Conroe when the bite’s on, which he tracks with the same precision he uses for door balance calculations.
Teresa V., Service Coordinator
Teresa answers the phone when you call (346) 703-6675 at 2 a.m. because your trolley carriage jumped the rail. She’s been with us since 2019 and knows which technician carries which inventory, who’s closest to your neighborhood, and whether your Genie chain drive likely needs a limit switch or a full opener replacement based on the symptoms you describe. Teresa sends the “on-the-way” text with the technician’s name and photo, and she’s the one who follows up after every job to make sure the documented photo record hit your inbox. She grew up in Tomball, graduated from Tomball High, and still lives out near Rosehill - so when she says she’ll have someone to you in twenty minutes, she’s estimating from actual road time, not a dispatch map.
Darnell K., Apprentice Technician
Darnell joined us in 2023 after four years as a commercial HVAC tech, and he’s bringing that systems-thinking approach to garage door work. He’s certified in LiftMaster and Chamberlain smart opener installation, including the myQ integration and safety sensor alignment that trips up a lot of DIY attempts. Right now he’s shadowing James on full door replacements and handling most of our opener repair calls in the Tomball city limits solo - spring work comes next, per our training ladder. Darnell coaches youth basketball at the Tomball Community Center and applies the same patience to explaining a capacitor failure to a homeowner that he does to teaching a fourth-grader a pick-and-roll.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard isn’t a slogan we print on magnets. It’s four clauses that govern how we work, and every technician on this team can recite them. Clause 1 is the written flat price before any work starts - no exceptions, no “let me check something” surprises. Clause 4 is the documented photo record: you see the cracked torsion spring, the frayed cable, or the failed logic board before anyone quotes a replacement, and you get those images in your inbox when we leave. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if James’s door alignment drifts or Darnell’s opener programming glitches, we come back and make it right without a debate.
We’re independently owned and operated in Tomball, not a franchise, and our license and insurance sit with this local business. Haven contributes the documentation system and the standard we agree to work to. When you call (346) 703-6675, Teresa picks up, names your technician, and sends the on-the-way text. That’s how it’s worked since 2015, and that’s how it’ll work on your job.
